Looking for Alternatives to Excel Spreadsheet with A lot of Links to Other Workbooks

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with an Excel Spreadsheet (Master Document) which has 100's of links within it to cells within other Excel Workbooks (Budget Documents). The purpose of this Master Document is to provide a summary of all the Budgets from various projects. I am aware that this is a clunky and inefficient way of providing a summary, however, I do not know what the alternative could be. The Budget Documents are not in a simple format where I can pull from in Power Query. Instead they do not follow exactly the same template of information.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

to start with, please post a sample sheet of the Budget Document ( no pics please) with some desensitized data if needed and also a sample of the Master Sheet. Thx

Hi there - Please find attached the following sample documents: Summary/Master, Budget 1, Budget 2, Budget 3.
All documents are separate workbooks.
Summary/Master Workbook pulls data from cells located in Row 99 in Budget 1, Budget 2, and Budget 3.

In my real life workbooks there are 50+ "Budget" workbooks to pull from.
