Excel Version(s)
xlsx
Hi,
The Excel table I made lists several types of amenities (rows) and a few different buildings in my city (columns).
I want to indicate whether specific buildings have the listed amenities. Currently, I am using the number 1 to indicate that the building has the amenity, then summing the totals on the right side. There must be a more intelligent way of doing this, let me know!

The main data points I want to collect are: which amenity types are most popular?and which buildings have which amenities?

xlsx is not an Excel product - which are you using? 365? 2024? 2021? Other?

What do you mean by "a more intelligent way of doing this"?

If you have 365, here's one thing you could try:

=IFERROR(BYROW(P4: P31,LAMBDA(r,TEXTJOIN(", ",,FILTER(B2:J2,FILTER(B3:J31,A3:A31=r)=1)))),"")

I've added three other things in the attachment - let us know if this is what you are after.

@Chavezz

I see that you have started posting pretty irrelevant content to threads on multiple forums - this raises my suspicions as a Moderator. Be aware that I am watching you both here and elsewhere.
