How do I add either clubs, diamonds, hearts or spades symbols as part of the contents of an excel cell.
For example for 5H -1 I want it to show 5 "hearts symbol" -1

If you have the UNICHAR function, then you can use UNICHAR(9824) through UNICHAR(9827). You can also then copy/paste those as values and then paste them into literal values.

Thanks....but I have no idea what a UNICHAR function is, whether I have one, is it contagious, and where do I find it?

Type =UNI in a cell and see what functions are available to you. If you don't have it, you can use the character map program in windows to locate the symbols and paste them in.

Which is your XL version ? 2104 is not an Excel version I think
