I managed to hook up RSS feeds to the site tonight (as I was waiting for servers to be copied in a VMWare to Hyper-V conversion). So there are two ways to be notified of updates to specific forums.
1) Log a subsctiption to a specific sub-forum by clicking the green checkmark. (You're automatically subscribed to any thread you reply to, and there is also an option to subscribe to other threads too, but this would let you subscribe to the whole sub-forum at once.)
2) There is an RSS feed for every sub-forum as well as the main site. You can subscribe to those by clicking the little orange feed icon.
