Open External Workbooks

Hi,

I've been using Power Query for awhile. One of the weirdest things I've been experiencing recently is that when I open up my workbook with Power Query, a separate workbook I'm querying from opens. I'm querying off of several other workbooks and it seems to be almost random when and which workbook it opens. Has anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it? Thanks.

Hi

i have experienced this when connecting to another users workbook.
i found that when i opened the query, their file will open in read only on my screen if they also have it open.

I am not aware if this has been fix or plans to be
