Only create connection in Power BI

Hi, I often use the only create connection option in Power Query in Excel when appending tables from multiple databases. I have started using Power BI and can't find this feature. Is it available in Power BI Desktop, and if not is it possible to create the append query in Power Query and to then import the queries into Power BI and most importantly to refresh the data from Power BI.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Select the query in question (in Query Editor) RHKEY mouse and uncheck enable load. Query will go from normal to intalics font and that query will not get pulled into the data model.
