Hi all,
Just joined and my first post so please be gentle with me!
I am relatively new to Get & Transform and Power Pivot. Before I started using them I would have described myself as an advanced Excel user - now not so sure!
I have a file with a number of named ranges. I am setting up a series of queries to extract the data I need and then combine it for use elsewhere. However, even though I have only connected to one of these named ranges, my refresh is very slow. When I look at the status bar, it seems to be importing data from all the other named ranges in the worksheet (heaven knows where it is all going...) which must be what makes it slow.
Any ideas what is making this happen? It seems crazy that connecting to one named range "connects" to so many others.
