How to put picture behind cell content without sending to background.

Version: MS Excel 2010

Hello everyone,

I am trying to put pictures behind the contents of the cells in multiple locations throughout the worksheet.

I attempted to put a background image on the excel, however, I was unable to put more than one and was unable to move it.

Is it possible to do this?
 
Doesn't quite work. This is the first option I tried, but it did not allow me to edit the location of the image, and it only allows a set mosaic pattern if I place more than one.

Been researching and experimenting. No luck putting image behind grid.

You can go two ways here :

Paste an IMAGE CONTROL on the sheet where you want it and fill it with your selected image.

Or ... do the same thing and then place a TEXTBOX on top of the image if required for annotation.

Doesn't seem to be a way to accomplish it any other way. :smash:
 
Thanks for looking around.

I'll try these options.

I may also try making the cells white, and add in png with white transparent background where the numbers should be.
