Custom Column with yesterday's date

I need to add a custom column to a table with yesterday's date and then convert it to a month. I know this sounds odd but the calculations are for a monthly report. If I were using DAX I would use something along the lines of TODAY()

Try:

Date.AddDays(DateTime.Date(DateTime.LocalNow()),-1)

Sorry - wrap Date.Month around that to get month of yesterday's date.
