Connection between 2 files

Hi everyone,
Im totally new in power query and I wanted to create a connection between a heavy file with raw data and another excel file with 2 pivot tables.
The file I want to create a connection in is the pivot tables one. I managed to create a connection but when I try to refresh the pivot tables file it gives me this error sign and I haven't changed nor moved the file.

No, the raw data is not open. I tried twice now where I made a connection both times, but as soon as I close the file and re-open it, then this error appears.

That is not a PQ error. How did you connect the pivot tables to your query?

I went to the excel file with the pivot tables and clicked on get data -> load to -> Create connection only

That creates a connection but how did you connect that to your pivot tables?
