Add Column Fail

Hi Gurus!

I am using Power Query in Excel 2013 and attempting to add a calculated column using '=WEEKNUM...' that will return the week of the year based on the date in another column. In the Query Editor under 'ADD COLUMN" I only have the following choices; Add Custom Column, Add Index Column, and Duplicate Column. None of which will allow me to to add this formula to the column. Please help anyone?

you are not far away.

Take "Add custom Column"
a window will show up

here you can type in your request - in your case the Date.WeekOfYear function. As I understand =WEEKNUM.....

in the window you will see a =

so:

= Date.WeekOfYear ([Date])

Date is the column name of your dates column. The Name "Date" is here only an example.
You should find this on the right side of the window where the availale columns are listed.
