convert text to a number

Hello, I have text in a cell that I created by "cutting out" the digits using the MID function. and conditions: =IF(D4="YES";MID(C4;FIND("SOŠ";C4)+4;5);0) They are digits and I would need to convert them to a number. The NUMBERVALUE and VALUE functions are not working for me. Can someone give me some advice please? Thank you in advance.

Seems fine here:

The formula in cell F4 is =E4/2 just to show that E4 is being treated as a number.
